All About New Weapons & Armors | Weapon Skins | Weapon Upgrade | Utopia:Origin

Earlier this week, we were actually teased of the upcoming update in Beia that will feature new design for weapons and especially the great animation it has! Let's deep dive into the update and get ourselves ready for the upcoming update!

The update will include combo animation, and extra damage and weapon exclusive bonus damage that will sure make the game lively compared to the old boring combat system! Just to remember this update will also come out as soon as the Underwater Beia comes out!

The underwater Beia will play a big role as the adventurer will start working hard and try to be the first person to collect and make the new generation weapons! Some materials will be exclusive materials that one can gather underwater!

This big update will sure make the game more PVP active and will make players happy! Let's now have a deep look on each new weapons that we'll soon be able to use! But don't expect too much as the resource that will be used will sure be rare and will initially be expensive in the first few weeks after the update!

╼ Sword Upgrade ╾

The old boring swords including silver, gold, obsidian, ancient, valea will be able to be upgraded or transformed to either bigger swords or sycthes (Sickle). That will be your choice to which one would be more suitable on your combat preferences. Check out the upgrade outcome below:

Choosing the big sword is awesome considering the new animation and combat system it has! Not only that but the effects whenever a character swings and attacks making the combat more engaging compared to the old boring mechanics. Tip: Long press to trigger charged attack and smash the ground!

What about a swirling AOE damage weapon? Check this sycthe or sickle that players can choose as an alternative for the big sword! I might not like smashing grounds, so here's a swirling attack with the this long sycthe that resembles death!

If that animation did not made you feel dizzy then I feel bad for your character... Anyway these new option for the sword upgrade sure is awesome! I wonder which one will you choose? Or probably both of such if you happen to be rich and afford the costly cost of upgrade materials! Tip: Long press to trigger the aoe swirling effect.

╼ Bow Upgrade ╾

Existing bows can be upgraded into an aoe damager or a sniper bow! Choose crossbow or a bowgun to deal aoe damage or a sniper bow to deal long ranged damage!

Observing their stances, I do heavily prefer the sniper bow that looks better and more fierce! But the choice will always be on you! Wether a bowgun or a sniper bow, just enjoy the game and the new combat mechanics!

Look at that effect! A crossbow that shoots short ranged arrow but generates an effect to damage nearby enemies! If you prepare being a ranged damager and do an AOE damage then a crossbow is definitely for you! Tip: You will need explosive arrows for this weapon.

This is a long-range weapon and needs to be equipped with sniper arrows. Each time an arrow is fired, it will cause a high amount of damage to a single targetted unit, and it can alsocause higher damageby performing two-stage charging. If you prefer fighting back over in a safe distance then this weapon is definitely for you!

╼ New Weapons Details ╾

This new weapons will sure make players fall in love with it! Guess what? the new weapons obtained will never be bound and will never be dropped! This means despite dying, your precious weapons will never be dropped and forget the chance of enemies stealing your weapons!

You can definitely invest heavily in such and get the highest stats possible! Now things are getting more exciting!IImagine prices of original weapons dropping because of this new update! Forget about weapons being stolen and focus on buffing up these new weapons!

╼ Upgrade Guide ╾

It is important for you to know that upgrading the weapons will have some effect on the stats of your original weapon. Enchantment stats will not be inherited with the upgraded weapon, meaning once you have upgraded the original weapon, your invested amount for the enchantment is gone.

I do suggest upgrading only fresh weapons. But the quality of the weapon is retained, which means if you happen to upgrade a legendary sword the upgraded sword will retain that quality and it will be a guaranteed legendary new weapon. Unfortunately the original stats of the weapon will randomly be retained, no details which stats are gonna be retained.

╼ Weapon Skins? ╾

It was teased that there will soon be skins available for these weapons, Utopia:Origin is sure being innovated! This suggests more ways for them to earn and support the game in the future development! Great thing here is that you can store the weapon skins in the wardrobe!
